Adam Šmákal has been working in the energy sector for more than ten years. During this time, he has gained a rare combination of experience, ranging from the operational management of a large service company and crisis management to the strategic development of new energy projects.
He spent the largest part of his career at ENERG-SERVIS a.s., a Brno-based company specializing in the design and construction of complex energy systems. From 2014, he served there as Sales Director and member of the Board of Directors. In this role, Adam was responsible for the company’s business strategy and development, led a team of specialists, and managed projects across the full spectrum of these activities. Over ten years, he drove significant business growth and strengthened the company’s position with key customers, including major energy companies.
In parallel, he spent two years as CEO of ČSAD Kyjov, where he was appointed as interim CEO to lead a restructuring process. Adam holds an MBA degree.
He joined Axelor with a clear objective: to apply his deep expertise in the preparation and implementation of energy construction projects, whether in battery storage systems or modern energy management. Within the group, he serves as Head of Energy and focuses on the development of the BESS project portfolio, the preparation of project documentation, negotiations with distributors regarding grid connection, and investor relations within the Watt&Build fund.
